Tipper's is situated in Edithburgh on the Coast
of Yorke Peninsula. The building dates back to the 1890's and was
Edithburgh's last blacksmith and harness shop.
Once owned and operated by 'Tipper' Stehbens, it
has been rebuilt using paddock stone and lime wash and much of the
original timber. Using modern facilities, we offer a high standard
of homely comforts for your enjoyment. Breakfast provisions are available
for continental breakfast.
The building offers accommodation separated into
two self-contained apartments with their own entrance.
Tipper's Harrows Suite
Luxury one bedroom accommodation with ensuite bathroom
with separate lounge/living area, ideally suited to couples for getaway
breaks.
The private lounge, with separate entry, features
comfortable seating and eating areas, a small library of holiday
reading material, a TV, DVD and CD player with Ipod Docking Port.
The large sized bedroom includes a queen sized
bed (additional single bed on request), with electric blanket.
The kitchenette is equipped with light cooking
facilities, and stocked with continental breakfast provisions, as
well as coffee and tea.
A selection of wine and beer can be purchased on
the "Kingswood" honour system - leave the money on the
fridge.
Stables Suite
Luxury 2 bedroom apartment style accommodation
each with queen size beds and own ensuite bathroom.
The well appointed R/C airconditioned lounge/dining
area has raked iron ceilings with a fully functioning kitchen featuring
stainless steel appliances complete with microwave and expresso coffee machine.
Other features include a holiday reading library,TV
DVD and stereo and a good selection of wine and beer that can be
purchased on the honour system.
The courtyard area features a chef style BBQ and an outdoor dining
area.
A vine shaded brick paved verandah is set against a spectacular
succulent garden.
This suite is ideal for 2 couples holidaying together
who want a quiet break from their hectic life but still have the
creature comforts of home. Laundry facilities are available by arrangement.
